I love OLD movies, even black and white, anything from the 30's and 40's. Rebecca is a favorite.
My guilty pleasures-
1. Michael and I love to go to an early movie on Friday nights, grab a bite, come home early, and beat the crowds.
2. Reading before going to sleep but I always have to tickle Michael's back and it is hard to juggle a book while doing this. This is the only way he will let me keep the light on late!

5. Running and biking with friends and going to school late in the summer.

FAMILY PHOTO SHOOT !
ALL MY CHILDREN gave me a most wonderful Mother's Day gift---a family portrait session with the talented photographer, Jonathan Canlas. It was a major accomplishment to get everyone there for one hour together. Maeve and Brad came from Australia where they were working and vacationing, Mia, Bruce, and family from Nebraska, Ian and Kelsee fresh from a trip to San Diego, Ty and Holly from North Salt Lake, and Lisa and Micah from Kaysville. We met at Memorial Grove, just down the street from where Carly and Oliver live. I told everyone to dress in black or brown and when I arrived and saw ALL MY CHILDREN, I knew it would be beautiful. After, we all ate at the Spaghetti Factory. We were quite a sight walking into Trolley Square in matching colors. People probably thought we were just a weird Mormon family. As Michael and I looked down the long table at our family of 20, we were just incredulous at the amazing children we have. We love them all so much. They are all unique and special and they have blessed our lives.
Here are some favorite images from our shoot.
Summer Weekend
We celebrated THREE birthdays this Friday--Holly, June 29th, Kelsee, July 1st, and Oliver, July 24th. The place they unanimously picked was Leatherbys for cheeseburgers and ice cream! It was fun to be together with the young set. Dad and I left early that day and saw Harry Potter at The Gateway before joining everyone.
Saturday was Farmington Festival Days and the parade is the very best. Small town fun, lots of excitement, and not too long. It was thrilling to have an apache helicopter from Hill Air Force base fly low along the parade route and stir the warm air to begin the parade. Micah, Halle, Brea, Ian, Kelsee, Jesse, John, and Beckham Shipley, Scott McDonald and his cute wife joined us. There was so much candy, otter pops, and prizes thrown that it was hard to carry it all home!
Later that night, Michael and I attended the temple and went to Weinerts after for supper. On Sunday, Glo, Maeve and Brad came to dinner. Maeve made some great cookies! Even though we are busy we miss having Mia and her family here with us.
